At the Ventura Police Department, we believe that public safety begins with people: our officers and professional staff, our community, and the strong relationships we build through community policing, effective problem-solving, and two-way communication. As your Chief of Police, I am committed to strengthening trust, enhancing transparency, and ensuring that our department reflects the values and priorities of the community we serve.

The Ventura Police Community Foundation (VPCF) is a valued partner in that mission. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the VPCF creates opportunities for residents and businesses to support initiatives that enhance community safety, support officer mental health, and improve quality of life across Ventura.

Working closely with the Police Department, the Foundation helps fund and expand impactful programs such as officer wellness, youth programs, the Police Explorers, and community safety efforts. VPCF also raises funds for specialized equipment and technology not covered by the City budget, helping us stay responsive, innovative, and ready to meet the needs of our growing city.

The support of the VPCF and the people it represents makes a real difference. Every contribution and every show of support helps strengthen our department and deepen our connection to the community we proudly serve.
