Women & Wellness Night

Join the Ventura Police Community Foundation on Wednesday, May 3 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. for an evening focused on friendship, mental health, and stress relief. This event will be hosted at Four Brix Winery, located at 2290 Eastman Avenue #109 in Ventura.

As a fundraiser for our non-profit, there is a $25 entry fee required. This entry fee includes a wine tasting and various hors d'oeuvres. Register here.

Our speakers include:

  • Jennifer Duston, a Leadership Consultant with Franklin Covey
  • Kim Evans, a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, currently contracted with the Ventura Police Department
  • Special guest, Asher, VPD's new comfort therapy dog, and his handler Roger Wang

Speakers will chat about the importance of ensuring you are taking care of your heart, mind, body, and spirit and will leave you with strategies you can implement immediately to find greater balance in your life.

Our special guest, Asher, whose functions include easing tension and lowering post incident stress and anxiety levels for employees, soothing victims and witnesses of crimes, providing support to those impacted by traumatic events, and visiting various community events for educational purposes.
